(BADIN, North Carolina) – The Southeastern Outdoor Press Association (SEOPA) began its new fiscal year November 1 and is pleased to welcome four new members this month. Joining SEOPA as individual media members are Brenda Valentine and Pete Rogers. Valentine, a popular TV personality and speaker, is known as The First Lady of Hunting.® She was a member many years ago and recently rekindled her association with SEOPA when speaking at the group’s fall conference at Kentucky Dam Village in October.
Rogers is an award-winning writer/photographer who reaches outdoors enthusiasts through more than 100 articles and 400 photographs each year in addition to speaking engagements. He lives in South Carolina and has traveled extensively to pursue his love of fishing and hunting. Learn more at Peter Rogers Outdoors.
Ben Zino is a 17-year-old aspiring wildlife biologist who just joined SEOPA as a student member. He is passionate about sharing his love of nature via video. You can check out his work and sign up for his blog on his YouTube channel, The Wild Report.
SEOPA is proud to announce that another student member, Emily George, graduates next month from Virginia Tech and will enter into the graduate program next fall.
